Description
The text comes from Charles Wesley of the 18th century, but the music comes from 21st century England. Clothed in a garb of lofty cathedrals the music begins majestically. Suddenly a stunning contrast in delicate a cappella counterpoint captures our imagination saying, “Christ has opened Paradise.” This is truly an Easter anthem with a great deal to say, both textually and musically. Medium in difficulty for church choirs.
